My 4 year old daughter is putting her fingers down her throat and also wiping poo on the walls! Is that a sign of adhd?

she is currently residing in foster care because of a domestic violence situation with my ex. are these symptoms of adhd or do you think its because she wants to come home? im reaally worried, because she never did anything like that until she got taken in may! im at my witss end and just want to know what it is.

It sounds like your family has been faced with some very difficult challenges. Unfortunately, one cannot determine via a column like this exactly what is occurring with your daughter. I would recommend that you talk with the social workers or other professionals who have been involved with your daughter due to her foster care placement. They should have access to professionals who can help you and your daughter.

Please note that when children are with domestic violence they can use all the support they can get. And their parents, too. Take care of yourselves.
