What the Expert Says:

Yes.  However, mercury free vaccines are available.  It depends what your pediatrician or town clinic received.  Because of tremendous delays and distribution issues, mercury free may not be available and it takes two weeks for the vaccine to be effective and a six month old needs two doses 28 days apart.

Mercury has never been proven scientifically to be dangerous from vaccines so don't worry and get vaccinated.
