Jayme0714 asks:

How should I help a 7 year old with learning problems?

I am no expert, but I help a friend out by watching her daughter a few times a week. In April, the teachers at her school talked to my friend about holding her daughter back. The girl has dyslexia and some issues with reading and spelling. I have been trying to help her read but partway through the book she wants to give up because she thinks it's too difficult. The books I am having her read are picture books with a few words that my two year old can read. I really don't want to see this little girl fall behind more than she already has.
