Does Acadia Christian Academy in Gouldsboro, Maine still exist? If not, where did its student records go?

"My mom and I are doing some research about the high school she attended. It was called Acadia Christian Academy located in Gouldsboro, Maine. For some reason, we can't find it. We didn't know if it was not there anymore, and if so where do the records go? It's been 25 years since she graduated, but she is trying to go back to school and they can't find the school to see if it is accredited. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you."

Have you tried contacting the Gouldsboro, Maine school district or the Maine Department of Education with your question?

I did a quick search in SchoolFinder to find the district page. I found two nearby districts...

They may have information or other resources to share with you to find the answer to your question (particularly about where school records go if a Maine school closes).
