My child tested positive for H1N1, do I still need to have my child vaccinated with the H1N1 vaccine?

What the Expert Says:

Dear Boston Girl:

Unless your child was hospitalized or had access to a state laboratory to confirm H1N1, I would vaccinate.  The CDC recommends that even though you had influenza A in the spring or now, it is not confirmatory of H1n1 leaving many patients confused.  Read the www.flu.gov website.
