Hi, College tuition varies in the United States (across a range of options, from low-cost community colleges to expensive private universities). You can learn more about college financing in the U.S. (including a listing of "America's Best-Value Colleges") in this special edition: http://www.education.com/topic/college-financial-planning/
Here's another particular relevant article in that special edition:
It totally depends on a college. I know that there are some free ones. I believe Williams College is one of them. I would suggest you ask yourself what you see yourself doing in the future and then look for the colleges that could be suitable for you. In any case Federal Program might offer you some financial aid. But I would not really rely on it, since this so-called aid has too many pitfalls. It's just we have not very strong educational system.
Well it depends totally not only on college but country as well. Like Dubai is darn expensive when it comes to education and almost all expats like me face high education cost if we want our children to study in American schools.
