SadafKashif asks:

How to deal with a child who shows no issues regarding home or school but wants his mother to pick him earlier and becomes upset when going to school?

The child's age is 8 only, and is always found comfortable at school with his friends. But he is reluctant to come to school, becomes upset, forces his mother to pick and drop him. He is the youngest at home, the rest of the siblings are quite older than him.

What the Expert Says:

Hello and thank you for writing to JustAsk!

It would appear that a consultation with the School Counselor may be warranted to see why this child is having challenges with getting and remaining in school.

Good luck!
