Q:

Can a director of school tell private info?

Can a director of a school tell a teacher a child family history. I'm a aunt raising my niece that is five. I had to tell the director that I was her aunt but I didn't tell the teachers. I had since birth and to her I'm mommy. Did the director have that right to tell private info??

What the Expert Says:

The director of the school can tell who is the guardian of the child. Possibly you can share your concerns with the director that you prefer not all information to be shared with all teachers.
