Hello,
We get free movies at our local library. Our library has a wide selection of DVDs and VHS tapes, including documentaries and cartoons about dinosaurs.
There are also many video clips on You Tube focused on dinosaurs: http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=dinosaurs&aq=f
However, I strongly recommend that you preview You Tube videos yourself before sharing them with your child. I would not recommend allowing a young child to search or view videos on You Tube alone.
Discovery Channel's website also has some dinosaur videos: http://dsc.discovery.com/dinosaurs/ I also suggest that you preview these first before sharing with your child, particularly if he is very young and may find these videos too scary.
Lastly, here are some animated storybooks on Education.com that are fine for sharing with young children: http://www.education.com/animated/story/aladdin/ I didn't see one specifically focused on dinosaurs, but your son may enjoy these nonetheless.
