What's an easy way to make crunchy chicken for our family?
"Could I just use chicken pieces and dip them into flour and nothing else to make them crunchy? I plan to deep fry them - We all like the crunchy taste of the chicken we purchase but I would prefer to make them myself and save some money. Can you suggest another EASY way to do this? I would appreciate a response. Thank you."

Relatively healthy 'crunchy chicken':
CornFlakes Chicken
Ingredients:
Boneless chicken breasts
2 to 3 Eggs whites
Honey
Dijon Mustard
Corn Flakes Cereal (they have cornflake crumbs out now)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees
Crush up cornflakes in blender or processor just pulse a few times to make crumbs.
Mix Honey into egg whites stir good with fork Dip chicken into egg white mix and coat with Cornflake crumbs
Spray baking sheet with oil or use non stick foil
Spritz top of chicken with olive oil
Bake chicken about 25 to 30 minutes at 375 degrees Till golden brown or juices run clear
Mix Honey and Dijon mustard together
Spread on plate and place chicken on it or drizzle over top of chicken

Oven Fried Chicken
Chicken pieces
1 tbs. margerine or butter
instant potato flakes
grated parmasean cheese
1 egg
1-2 tbs. milk
seasonings of your choice
(For seasonings, I like onion powder (or Mrs. Dash Onion & Herb, garlic powder, pepper, and seasoning salt)
empty gallon-sized ziplock bag
optional, sprinkle a little of the seasonings in the egg
1. Preheat oven to 350.
2. Place margerine in baking dish and place in oven until melted
3. In a medium size bowl, beat milk and egg
4. In a gallon-size ziplock bag, add potato flakes, parmasean cheese
and seasonings.
5. Dip chicken piece in egg, shake off any excess egg
6. Drop chicken piece into bag with potato flakes and parmasean cheese
7. Shake bag until chicken is coated
8. Repeat steps 5-7 until all chicken is coated. If desired, pour any
excess mixture over chicken.
9. Bake approximately 1 hour. If larger pieces of chicken add 15
minutes.
10. Enjoy!
