Whatever type of music they enjoy is good.  Often the classical music is good.  You would have to experiment and see what your child responds to. The old Hap Palmer records can be good, very clear, very literal and repetitive. Perhaps eBay or Amazon or your library would have some old copies of Hap Palmer.
