What the Expert Says:

The mist is a cold adapted live virus which means it is effective in the nose and dies there since the nose is colder than the rest of the body.  This technology is accurate and helps many children over two years old who otherwise would have needed an injectable vaccine. However, if there are medical conditions, the injectable killed virus is the referred route to go.
