Im a newly hired Title I teacher in a schoolwide elem school. I'm ok with the teaching but not sure what will be required other than that. HELP!!!

I would like some advice on what a Title I teacher's duties and responsibilities are besides going into the classrooms to do differentiated instruction. I'm the only one at the school in Reading and Math.

•Title I—Financial Assistance to Local Educational Agencies for the Education of Children of Low-Income Families

Title I teacher means that you will be working with students who need more support in academics. Consult your principal about your role and responsibilities as Title I teacher. Some programs have the Title I teacher co-teach with other teachers; others are separate, stand-alone classrooms.
