Hey!
I guess you'll need a good reason, like, is it really worthwhile for you to have it? Is it educational? Does it help you get your exercise? If you can't give a good reason, then you'd better figure out a way you can convince her by picking up some cost sharing. Are you old enough to mow the lawn or do extra household chores (ironing, washing dishes, etc.)? Maybe you can negotiate some extra work for some $$.

i go with the first answer you need to come up with a good reason---and just for your information the...mom all my friends have one..... is not a good reason.
