How to motivate my kids to participate in Science fair?
what is a good science fair project for a 7th grader? My kids have watched their friends parents do their projects and the kid goes on to state fair for years now. They no longer want to participate because I make them do the work themselves. No, I can either join the crowd or get them a good one next time. Not sure what to do for a project. I need to start soon for next year. Any advice?!"

Look for a fair that has rule in place that eliminate students who do not do the project on their own. Hang in there, your doing the right thing. Sometimes life lessons are hard but for the kids whos parents shield them and do all for them they do not become adults that can handle life very well.
