We live with my mother in law - not by choice but because of duty.  She is very controlling and down right rude when it pleases her.  She does not allow my children to be in their space and everything has to be spic-and-span.  She disregards all that I do and is extremely unappreciative of any that we do for her.  She can at times be verbally abusive and most times she does not give a hoot about our feelings and treat us in a demeaning manner.
