Problem/solution text structure is very similar to question/answer text structure. The author introduces a problem then offers viable solutions for the reader. An example may be: many land and sea animals have become sick or have even died from eating dangerous or poisonous items found in their natural habitat. Unfortunately, many humans have been the cause. When humans fail to discard unwanted trash properly or use toxic substances, it results in endangering the life of animals. One possible solution is to always throw trash in a receptacle and recycle used items. Using non-toxic chemicals that are safe for animals and the environment can also diminish or reduce the harmful effects on animals.
