Did you really ask this 2 months ago and no body answered? Wow, the staff around here is getting slack! No, seriously, mostly volunteers do the answering and there aren't too many of us on the science side.

Well, my guess, if you still are wanting to find out and haven't already done so, is that a reconstructed experiment means you reproduce or duplicate an experiment, perhaps one from the history of, say, chemistry, or perhaps it means you tried to replicate and improve one you did yourself.
