my son who is 5th grader has add/adhd. he was on meds but those meds were not helping infact they were making it worst, he is now on natural things such as fish oils vit and all organic diet, we have seen great inprovement, how ever he is still having focus problem in school so says his teacher, one day he's doing great the next he's doing so bad what gives your thoughts

Although the fish oil and organic diet can be helpful to kids for a lot of different reasons, it would appear it is still not taking care of the problem. First, I would check with your pediatrician to be sure he is correctly diagnosed. Second, be sure that if he really has ADD/ADHD that there isn't a learning disability or some other situation. Kids with ADD will have multiple diagnoses. Finally, speak with the teacher and resource teacher to be sure he is getting the required help under the federal 504 law.
