concernedmoma asks:

Teacher and principle.

My 5 year old son was recently in school suspended for pointing his finger like a gun and pretend shooting the teacher because he was upset and didn't want to participate in reading group. Since the incident his teacher and principle have made comments about how scared they are of him like he is a sociopath.  Yet they won't allow my sons family therapist to observe him in class. My son and his 3 year old brother play super heros as well as every little boy I have ever seen playing at the park or the preschool I taught. It is normal age appropriate play. I agree it isn't good at schools with at the recent shootings, but if he does it again he will be suspended at home.  I'm worried that he has been labeled the bad kid and that eventually he will be alienated from his school. His grades have been dropping and his participation is now non existant and he says he hates school since the incident. What do I do? I do not think the teacher is capable of teaching my child at this point.
