Hi there,

After your surgery, you should expect some bruising and swelling - the amount differs by person. It can extend to your upper and lower lids, and to the cheeks. It can take as long as two weeks for the bruising and swelling to go down. It is also normal for the eyelids to feel tight and itchy.

Doctors recommend icing your eyelids as much as possible for the first couple days, and keeping your head elevated.

Good luck!
