1.2 Million Graco Harmony High Chairs Recalled

What This Means

The high chair can pose a fall hazard because the screws holding the chair's front legs can loosen and fall out and/or the plastic bracket on its rear legs can crack, rendering the high chair unstable and able to tip over unexpectedly.

The manufacturer has received 464 reports of the high chair tipping over unexpectedly because the screws loosened/fell out and/or plastic brackets cracked. Twenty-four injuries were reported as a result of these tip-overs, including a hairline fracture to the arm; bumps and bruises to the head; and cuts, bumps, bruises, and scratches elsewhere on the body.

The recall includes all Harmony™ High Chairs. This model is no longer in production, but it was manufactured from November 2003 through December 2009.

Where This Product Was Sold

Babies"R"Us, Toys"R"Us, Sears, Target, Target.com, Walmart, Walmart.com, AAFES, Burlington Coat Factory, Shopko, USA Baby, and other retailers nationwide from December 2003 through March 2010 for between $70 and $120.

Immediately stop using the recalled high chair and contact Graco to receive a free repair kit.
