visualpanic 5 C vegetable or chicken broth
1 pound peeled carrots, chopped coarsely
1 large clove of raw garlic
3/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
Bring broth to a boil, add carrots, garlic, salt, and pepper. Simmer for about 20 minutes or until the carrots are quite tender. Put the soup into a blender and puree to desired texture. Makes 5 servings.
