Tennis Elbow

National Association for Sport and Physical Education

Diagnosed as lateral epicondylitis. Athletes who have “tennis elbow” experience pain on the outside epicondyle due to excessive extension of the wrist (moving the wrist back), such as bringing the tennis racket back when playing tennis. The wrist extensor muscles/tendon originate on the lateral epicondyle and become inflamed.
