3 cups fresh, seeded, peeled, chopped tomatoes
1 8-ounce can tomato sauce
1 1/2 cups low-sodium chicken broth
1 tablespoon dried basil
In a blender or food processor, combine tomatoes, broth and tomato sauce. Cover and blend until smooth. Stir in basil. Cover and chill until serving time. Makes 6 servings.
