abroad) Social Science Research Council (SSRC)posts information on fellowship and grant programs sponsored by the SSRC either independently or with other organizations. These programs provide predissertation and dissertation fellowships, postdoctoral fellowships, and advanced research grants in both the social sciences and humanities. Some programs also provide support for natural scientists and non-academic professionals. Harvard College "Guide to Grants" Cornell Graduate School Fellowship Database includes many study abroad opportunities on their list of grants. The East Asia and Pacific Summer Institutes Program (EAPSI)provides U.S. graduate students in science, engineering, education, social, behavioral and economic sciences the opportunity to conduct research while establishing collaborative relationships in Asia and Australia during 8 weeks in the summer. The EAPSI program package consists of a $3,000 stipend from NSF and a round trip air ticket. Sponsoring organizations in Asia and Australia will support living expenses.
