Ingredients
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons margarine or butter, softened
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ¼ cup low-fat milk
- 2½ cups fresh sweet cherries, pitted
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F. Beat sugar, margarine, flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and milk in mixing bowl. Place cherries in lightly oiled 9-inch square baking pan. Spread flour mixture over cherries. Bake 25 to 30 minutes, or until crust is brown. Serve warm.
