Tex-Mex Burger

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ pounds (85%) lean ground chuck
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • ¼ cup minced fresh cilantro
  • 4 tsp minced canned chipotle chilies in adobo
  • 4 tsp yellow mustard
  • 4 tsp taco seasoning (dry form in packet)

Directions:

  1. Break beef into small pieces in medium bowl.
  2. Add cheese, cilantro, chilies, mustard and taco seasoning.
  3. Using fork, toss until evenly distributed.
  4. Divide mixture into 4 equal portions and lightly pack into 1-inch thick patties.
  5. Grill.
