I have been impressed by the school staff -- from teachers and administrators to cafeteria staff and other support personnel -- during the two school years we have spent at the Daphne Elementary. They are at the same time truly caring of the students while always professional. The school is very well run. You need only survey the cafeteria as the classes rotate in and out like clockwork to see they know what they are doing. Wish there could be more time for music and art, and that the gifted program started earlier, but I don't think theu have dicretion in those areas. Also wish the older children had PE and recess daily, but don't think that is an option they have either.
