Augusta Evans School Reviews

A great School for a handicaped child to attend.

By , a Parent on

I cannot say any thing bad about the faculty and staff of the school nor can I say any thing bad about the school. My son attends the school and he loves it and everyone there loves him as well. Before my son went to this school he attended a regular school and no one in that school knew how to teach him. He has came a long way since he has gone to Augusta Evans School. The school is a very safe and happy environment. I never hear nothing bad happening there and being all the children there has some kind of handicaps that attend the school there is not one that is better than the next. Every one there knows each child capabilities and does all they can to teach each child what they need to know to make it through life even if they have to have help doing.   I am very pleased with the whole school and staff.  Over all it is a wonderful school. And now that they are fixing to move to the new school that they much needed I know all the children will love it much more. Thanks to everyone there at the school you all are great.

I think Augusta Evans is a great school. I have a child that goes there and she loves it. They not only teach her the academics that she needs, but she is also taught life skills. Everyone is alike in school, so she doesn't have to worry about being made of because she "looks" different or because she "acts" different. The teachers there are really great and loving towards each and every child. They not only know the children that are in their classes, but they know the other children that they see in the halls. These children are never left alone to wander the halls and get lost. They are also not able to wander outside to the roads or woods.
