I am currently enrolled in Buckhorn High. It has excellent academics and sports teams (not to mention the high-ranking Scholar's Bowl team). The students who make very good grades influence the other students. It may be a bit overcrowded, but most of the teachers are close to the students, making sure that they do excellent in that paticular course. Overall, I love this school and recommend it.

Tessa Williams: This school is amazing, as teachers do everything they can to help their students. I have six children, and they all went to Buckhorn some time in the past, and we could all agree that Buckhorn, eventhough overcrowded, teaches students in a very effective ways.

We are a military family. Having moved often, we have experienced many different schools. Our oldest child spent all 4 years and graduated from Buckhorn High School. We now have a 2nd child in this school. We are so thankful that we are moving next year. We have not been happy with this school!
Classes are too large (35 students to 1 teacher in most of the classes) Instruction is nothing to brag about. I understand that the school has serious problems maintaining order in the school, but our children have never been in trouble, and the scare tactics they use are unusually intimidating. School administrators treat parents and students like criminals.
