Southside High School Reviews

By a Parent on

I worry about my daughter's education at Southside High. How can the teachers do their job when there are so many students in each class? I saw online here that the average reported ratio is under 20 students per teacher. That is soooo misleading when my child is in core classes (Math, English, History) with anywhere between 37 to 40 students in each one. That is not beneficial to the teacher or to my child in their education. And what has been done about it? Is there not a law that restricts the number of students per teacher even in the public classroom? I would think so. It is a sad day for education indeed.
