We have had three children attend VHECH for three years and have been very pleased. The student body is free from pervasive problems like cliques and bullying. In our experience, the teachers have been effective, kind and patient. The system is well funded and caring. VHECH provides an education to the children in a nurturing and fun environment. With a relatively small student body of just over 300,  there exists an overall feeling of familiarity to the school.  Plans and funds to update/improve the facility are in the making.

"This school has absolutely changed my son's life! He is a brilliant kid who has a learning disability, and the staff absolutely understands his situation and teaches the way he learns! They are so insightful, understanding and capable, I feel lucky that we are part of that community."

"They have a newly built building which is absolutely gorgeous and very well laid out. In general the staff is caring, but firm. Only bad thing is that parent involvement is not encouraged. Yet!!"
