Does the program provide textbooks and other materials?

Yes, online lessons, plus books and hands-on activities are all included.

How do students interact socially?

Students (and parents) gain access to an active, local supportive school community that fosters social events and field trips.

Can my child work at his or her own pace?

Yes, Wetumpka's flexible schedule allows students to learn at their own pace.

Do you provide curriculum for special needs children?

Depending on a child's IEP, we can tailor our curriculum to meet your needs. Contact Wetumpka to discuss your child's needs.

What will my child study?

Wetumpka’s online curriculum includes courses in the four core subjects—language arts, math, science, and social studies. Children also have access to music and art courses at each grade level, plus world language options beginning in third grade.

High school students receive an academic program highly customized to their skill level in each subject. The four core subjects—language arts, math, science, and social studies—are offered across multiple academic levels. Plus, world languages and electives in science and technology, business, and liberal arts give high school students plenty of options to explore their interests and develop their passions.

Can you accommodate the accelerated needs of advanced learners?

Yes, there is an Advanced Learner Program that is flexible enough to meet children where they are in any given subject and take them where they want to go. Placement assessments taken online during the enrollment process allow us to place your student in the appropriate level of curriculum. For example, if your fourth grader is doing math on a sixth-grade level and reading on a fourth-grade level, we can tailor your curriculum and lesson plans to meet her abilities.

The high school level program is highly individualized to a student’s skill level in each subject. Honors and Advanced Plancement (AP) courses are available. Contact us to learn more.
