About This School
Charter schools are public schools, but differ from traditional public schools in that they are independent and are operated by educators, parents, community leaders, educational entrepreneurs, or others. Funding for charter schools is based on designated local or state educational organizations. Those organizations are responsible for monitoring and assessing the quality and effectiveness of education, but permit the schools to operate outside of the traditional public school education system. Arizona Montessori Charter School at Anthem Reviews
My child has attended this school
in 2008 and he is hearing impaired
in both ears, and was treated with care and respect, and also recieved speech therapy twice a week by a wonderfull therapist at the school. We left the country for a year but we are coming back in march 2010,and both of our boys will be going there..

I have heard from several parents that this school does not allow students with disabilities to attend. I have called several times and left messages (not saying that my child has special needs and have not gotten a call back). so I have not even had a chance to be 'rejected' as I've heard they do. Not sure why they do this since they're a charter school and by law have to take these kids-but so far I know of no one in the community that has a special needs child here.
