Villago Middle School Reviews
I think villago middle school is so focused on discipline than they are on teaching. My Child has a learning diability and instead of working with her on that or around it they find a way to give her ASD (after school detention) All over a reading log the teacher had another student pass out and he did not give my child one. So she winded up having ASD due to not showing up for ZAP do to her schedule being messed up and calling me to confirm so she missed zap and got ASD. I want to know if she had zap how much time did she have to eat lunch. Also what is it teaching my child it is teaching her that her teacher can pick on her and make innappropriate comments to her and if she does not like my child she can just give her ASD and that will teach her. Also why do the teachers not get any disciple for not making sure at the end of there class all students have the material and books for the assignment that needs to be done or for not doing there job 100%.I feel I pay my taxes and they should be teaching her but instead they are pushing her out to where she does not want to be in school anymore not because of other kids but because of teachers. And If my Child is in the wrong she would be the first one to own up to it. We need new school disipline guidelines and better teachers who really want to make a difference and teach these kids not discipline that is our job as parents.
I think the school needs to stop being so focused on test scores & focus more on the individual student. The principle is not friendly either.
