About the TERRANOVA
What is it?
The TerraNova is a series of nationally norm-referenced tests that assess general academic knowledge in core subjects, as well as providing national comparisons.
Which Grades and Subjects?
Students in grades 2 through 9 are assessed in reading, language arts and math.

Students receive a percentile rank, which indicates how well they performed in comparison to their peers in other states. The goal is for all students to score at or above the national average, or 50th percentile, on the test.

cc021406: This school is amazing. Chandler holds high education standards and CTA-Independence received an A+ rating. They have high standards for the children, the Kindergartners spend the first 6 weeks of school as a Kindergarten review and the remainder of the year is 1st grade materials. Same with 1st grade and so on... they review, but then are actually working on the next grade materials. There is a lot of homework, but that is just fine with me. The kids learn to keep studies as an important part of their after school time. They practice the Spaulding Method, which is great.
