Anthem Elementary School

I absolutly hate the stamp sheet program. Learning responsobility is one thing, but having my child so stressed out over this stupid paper is ridiculous.  Not to mention I provide boxes and boxes of school supplies at the beggining of the year but if my child forgets her pencil or needs a new one that is considered being unprepared and she has to stay after school an extra hour?? What happend to all of the supplies the teachers take at the beggining of the year? Why can't she get a new pencil from the teacher? And where the heck does the FOUR boxes of 20 sharpend pencils go?? This system is rediculous and how the heck do they have enough funding to bus kids to school, home from school and then back to school to pick late stay kids up and take them home and then back to school to pick up the even later stay kids and take them home?? I thought we were in a rececion, and what happened to going green? Thats a lot of freaking gas spent on school bus transpertation that tax payers pay for. Im sure the school gets more money for keeping children more hours in the day. They get home late enough as it is, why are our children being punished by keeping them after school later. How about taking recess away? Maby its because they don't really get a recess anymore?? And they get a whole 15 min to eat.. Its all about money in the end.

This school is not safe for ur kids! this place is a prison yard for children! there is no real displine and the principal is a joke! I just looked at the over view of the school and half of the accounts are false! there isnt a sro officer any more, the education is extremely lacking and the zero tolerence is a lie! My 2nd grader had a knife pulled on her in line at this school and the boy who did it was not susupended!! My child was really shaken up and now needs help with stress. If u value ur kids safty dont put them here!! Thank God my child is still alive! the school is out of control, there has been more incidents like this but the principal trys to brush it under the rug for the sake of the reputation of the school to get funding! all they care about is attendence! I gave this school 3 years dispite the reviews and as a concerned parent i urge u not to put ur kids here! my child made it out alive will yours!! I had a teacher express to me that if there were somewhere else for her to go she would and that she would never allow her kids to attend this school!! what does that say about the school!! Please dont put your kids in this school!
