About the TERRANOVA
What is it?
The TerraNova is a series of nationally norm-referenced tests that assess general academic knowledge in core subjects, as well as providing national comparisons.
Which Grades and Subjects?
Students in grades 2 through 9 are assessed in reading, language arts and math.
How is it Scored?
Students receive a percentile rank, which indicates how well they performed in comparison to their peers in other states. The goal is for all students to score at or above the national average, or 50th percentile, on the test.

Arizona's Instrument to Measure Standards (AIMS) are annual tests used to measure a student's mastery of the state's grade-level academic standards.

Carmella Coca: I think this school thrives because it weeds out the children who don't fit into their academic goals! I HAD two children who attended this school and can tell you one did wonderful and the other who has an IEP and was set up to fail numerous times(over 3yrs and repeating kindergarten) before I had to request a evaluation be done... to find out it was not a behavior issue as they insisted but a delayed processor! After 3yrs of taking their suggestions I finally pulled my children from this school and not only has his behavior improved but he is doing well and likes to go to school now.....
