About This School
Charter schools are public schools, but differ from traditional public schools in that they are independent and are operated by educators, parents, community leaders, educational entrepreneurs, or others. Funding for charter schools is based on designated local or state educational organizations. Those organizations are responsible for monitoring and assessing the quality and effectiveness of education, but permit the schools to operate outside of the traditional public school education system. Heritage Elementary School Reviews
This has been a great school for my 3 kids. The teachers are highly qualified and seem to truly care for the education and well-being of my kids!
My children were at Heritage for part of the year. I pulled my children out because I didn't feel my children were up to speed with their peers in other schools. I was right. I placed my children in a school with a better test rating. My children were so far behind I cried. My children are doing great now. However, it has been an uphill battle this year to get them on grade level. I'm proud to say, my children are both above grade level now thanks to their new school.
This school has changed directors and it has been for the worse. My child has come home and told me about teachers yelling at their students. Teachers come and go. I have never seen a school with such a high teacher and student turnover rate. This is the last year my child will attend this school. I would never recommend this school to anybody.
