St Peter's Episcopal Montessori School

I think that the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) accreditation combined with the well trained and caring staff make this a wonderful place for kids to begin their academic careers.  My young children attended their 3, 4,and 5 year old school years and benefitted ENORMOUSLY from the Montessori curriculum and the St. Peter’s environment.  My daughter, in particular, was reading fairly well at age 4 and my son, shortly thereafter.  They were doing amazing and logical hands-on math work up through multiplication.  The outdoor, life skills, science and geography work added so much fun and wonder to their school days as well.  St. Peter’s has been educating children through Dr. Montessori’s methods for over 40 years as I understand it.  Christian education is a weekly part of the curriculum.  My family enjoyed the strong multicultural emphasis as well.
