Saddleback Elementary School
: My son was quite a handful as he started out his kindergarten year. At first the teacher and principal were not sure if he was actually developmentally ready for kindergarten. He is a bright kid but likes to push the limits to see how far he can bend you. I was so thankful to Mr. Bob the Child Psychologist encouraged everyone to work together and keep him in school since he didn't think it was anything more than adjustment issues. He turned out to be a handful throughout the year but his teacher, Ms. Smith, was willing to find out what made him tick, what kid of kid he was, and what he needed from her (even if it was a "special" desk right by hers so he could concentrate and not distract his kinder classmates), so that he could learn and keep pace with the rest of the class. He is reading at level, can do addition and subtraction and we are so thankful and greatful that she never gave up on him. She is an amazing teacher and we are very happy with the school and all the support they've shown us in helping grow our son.
