Bullying

By a Parent on

My son was enrolled in a class at Taft. He had only been in the class for two weeks and reported to me he was being called mean things and had also said he was kicked, punched, and pushed by the kids in his class. We have never had issues like this with my son in his Sunday school class so when I questioned the teacher about it she was very dismissive and seemed disgusted with my son. The situation turned very sour after that and I don't feel like the school was very helpful in resolving the situation.  We pulled our son out and are enrolling him at Franklin in the fall. I do not recommend any parent enrolling their children at Taft if they want to be involved in the welfare of their child, cause frankly, they don't care what you think when you present the facts and we're completely unreasonable.

I went to this school pre-k through 6th grade and I loved it! The teachers really cared and knew what they were doing. There wasn't really many bullying problems at this school.
