About This School
Charter schools are public schools, but differ from traditional public schools in that they are independent and are operated by educators, parents, community leaders, educational entrepreneurs, or others. Funding for charter schools is based on designated local or state educational organizations. Those organizations are responsible for monitoring and assessing the quality and effectiveness of education, but permit the schools to operate outside of the traditional public school education system. See Academy of Arizona - Main's test results to learn more about school performance.

Academy of Arizona - Main Reviews
This is a terrible school. You have cracks in the wall of the bathrooms and it has so many needs. The books are old and the kids cannot even learn Social Studies or Science because of the lack of books. I moved my children because I think it is one of the worst schools I have come across. It seems that the teachers are very nice and do the best that they can, but do not have very much support from the administration.
