About This School
Charter schools are public schools, but differ from traditional public schools in that they are independent and are operated by educators, parents, community leaders, educational entrepreneurs, or others. Funding for charter schools is based on designated local or state educational organizations. Those organizations are responsible for monitoring and assessing the quality and effectiveness of education, but permit the schools to operate outside of the traditional public school education system. Ahwatukee Foothills Prep School Reviews
This is a horrible school. They do not take the children's needs or best interests seriously. Their main objective is to make parents happy at all costs. For example, my son was not turning in any of his homework and I recieved a progress report showing how he was failing all of his classes but a few weeks later, when his report card came, he had all A's. I want my son to learn to be responsible for what he does or doesn't do but instead, the teacher makes up excuses for him.
I would say that this school has a lot of issues. They are very unorganized and don't know what is going on. The teachers are kept out of the loop and are unaware of what is happening. The school just recently moved locations and they are not even open on time. I think this is terrible for students because they are out of their learning enviroment. The school needs a lot of help.
