Like most schools in an affluent district of town, the parents contribute more so the school has better everything, including academic ratings, good teachers, good attendance, it is kind of "the grammar school" in the City of Phoenix. If your kid graduates from Meadows, they normally go to Madison Simis which also is a great middle school, academically. The high school districts are so cut up now with Phoenix Union closed down, so kids from as far South as Buckeye Road are going to Central. So, Sunnyslope took over Central's high academic achievement awards. If your child lives in the Central High district, they are better off in a charter school. I went to Meadows and so when I had another child at 39 years old, she went to Meadows and I think it was the best chance at an education she could have received in Phoenix. I knew one set of parents who owned a business in San Diego but when their son's private school shut down, they sold their business and moved to Phoenix so he could Meadows and Simis.
