I fooled around too much during my 8th grade year and i wasnt able to pass to freshmen year in high school. I got accepted into this program called prep academy which is sadly, no longer available. I admit it, i hated Polaris to a cellular level, i wanted to leave Polaris so badly and that was before i gort used to it. Polaris is an amazing school with wonderful teachers and staff, what i love most about this school is that its so small. im a seinor now and my favorite year is my freshmen year at polaris, sadly my mom only judged by what she saw and she saw "gang colors" and "gang members". so she made me leave and i miss it soo so so much. I could have done more to convince my mom that i was happy there, for the first time in my life i was actually happy to go to school. How many students can actually say that they love going to school? not many :)
when i went to polaris, i couldnt wait to get to school, to see y teachers and my friends. I joined the cross country team and i had an amazing time, this school really has alot to offer and i would recommend it to ANYONE. honestlyif it were up to me, i would be graduating from polaris, not the current school i go to. So called " gang memebers " and " violence" thats just being rasict. there is alot of diversity and i have so many great friends that go there. The schools students and system are seriously misunderstood.

Alisha O'Niel: I dropped out of high School the begining of my Junior year. I decided to go back to school and started to attend Polaris High school. I was able to make up all the classes I missed and received all A's. I recommend this school to any struggling student. This school gave me the tools Ineeded to Graduate.
Thank You Polaris.

...My son was transfered to Polaris from his home high school because of trouble he had got into. He attended the school for one semester and received incompletes in all classes. He hated going there, the teachers had no control over the students and what they said or done. He had to worry about being jumped by students through out the school day. He couldn't learn with other students constantly talking about drugs and gang violence in the class room. My son isn't an angel otherwise he wouldn't have been transfered to Polaris but he also deserves to get a education if he wants one and this school didn't allow for it to happen.
