About This School
Charter schools are public schools, but differ from traditional public schools in that they are independent and are operated by educators, parents, community leaders, educational entrepreneurs, or others. Funding for charter schools is based on designated local or state educational organizations. Those organizations are responsible for monitoring and assessing the quality and effectiveness of education, but permit the schools to operate outside of the traditional public school education system. Leading Edge Academy - Queen Creek Reviews
We are so happy that we found Leading Edge. Their academic program is solid. The teachers are caring professionals who are always available . They teach character values. Students are well behaved for the most part and the administration is responsive to parent concerns. We give this school a solid 'A.'
This school is more concerned about getting alot of students than they are in seeing the students learn. The teachers are expected to teach even though they are not allowed to bring discipline to the class room. Rowdy students are never removed regardless of the seriousness of their actions, yet a caring teacher will be released if it means the school can keep all the students. They talk alot about training character, yet they do not do so. I would never send any of my own children to this school.
My children have gone to Leading Edge Academy for 3 years. They love it! The teachers are the best! The school is very focused on the children's needs! Some kids are a little advanced and others are a little behind, they focus on what the kids need to be successful!
