What is it?
Arizona's Instrument to Measure Standards (AIMS) are annual tests used to measure a student's mastery of the state's grade-level academic standards.
Which Grades and Subjects?
Students in grades 3 through 8 and 10 are assessed in reading, writing and math.
How is it Scored?
Students score at one of four levels: falls far below standard, approaches the standard, meets the standard or exceeds the standard. The goal is for all students to meet or exceed state standards.

This site's material is outdated. Classrooms have as many as 12 different religions represented - 80% of kids are not white. The school moved 3 years ago to a bigger facility.
BASIS is an excellent academic school for kids, and parents, who are up to the challenge. It is especially good for people who don't like public school red-tape and refuse to conform to mediocrity.
