Kari Johnson: This is the first year my children are at the school.  So far it has been a remarkable fit.  They have offered my 5th grader tutoring, which has helped tremendously.  The Kindergarten staff is wonderful.  I feel everyone at Paradise is there to help just me. That says a lot about a school, when in this day and age you feel singled out instead of just one of the crowd.

Can't wait for school to end so i can find another school for my kids to attend this coming school year. Not what i expected from a charter school.

We barely use technology or do powerpoint presentations.I'm in 8th grade and I have to do about 1-2 hours of homework every day, but most kids who are used to going to public schools who transfer to this school would dislike the amount of homework. The classwork is boring. 2 kids in the cafeteria were making noises and so now the entire 8th grade has to eat lunch with homerooms instead of eating with your friends. In science class, we don't even learn science we just measure water and weigh stuff on scales! Math class is so boring at this school.

At the public school that I used to go , each classroom had about 5-7 laptops. This school has 14 laptops FOR THE ENTIRE 8TH GRADE!!! The desks are so old and the books are vandilized with writing/drawings. The books are also pratically falling apart. I went to a public school and the school was 5 years old and all of the books were nice, not like this school. The teachers teach in a very boring way. I have been to 7 schools so far and this is one of the worst!

The good thing is, the children are MUCH more disciplined and the education here is better, and nobody gets bullied. The children are respectful, but I still like several other schools better.
